A.F. Sin a.k.a. Kid Sin — Underground Hip Hop Artist, Rapper & Producer

A.F. Sin, also known as Kid Sin, is a Jersey City, New Jersey–born underground hip hop artist, rapper, battle MC, music producer, graphic designer, and video creator with more than three decades of experience in hip hop. Beginning his journey at just 18 years old, Sin developed his own distinctive lyrical style, aggressive delivery, wordplay, and versatile rap flow while growing up in the birthplace of his musical identity—Jersey City, NJ.

In 1995, A.F. Sin formed the hip hop group originally known as The Kindred. After expanding the lineup, the group was renamed Tha Kin in 1998. Tha Kin consists of A.F. Sin, Vic Shadez, and J-Pleezz, bringing together three MCs with their own individual styles and approaches to underground hip hop.

Throughout his career, A.F. Sin has been deeply involved in underground hip hop and battle rap, building an extensive battle record while continuing to write, record, and release original music. His catalog includes full-length hip hop albums, mixtapes, EPs, singles, collaborations, and solo recordings, with an extensive archive of officially recorded solo material dating back to at least 2005.

Rooted in the raw lyricism, competitive MC culture, and authentic sound of underground hip hop, A.F. Sin has continued creating music independently rather than following short-lived trends. His music reflects decades of experience as an MC and draws from East Coast hip hop, underground rap, battle rap, lyrical hip hop, and boom bap, while maintaining the individual sound and identity he began developing as a young Jersey City rapper.

Now based in Springfield, Massachusetts, A.F. Sin continues to work on new solo music, Tha Kin projects, collaborations, and independent hip hop releases.

Beyond performing and recording, A.F. Sin is also a hip hop music producer, graphic designer, and music video creator. His creative work includes producing music, developing visual artwork and graphics, shooting hip hop music videos, and handling video editing and post-production.

After more than 30 years in hip hop, A.F. Sin a.k.a. Kid Sin continues to represent the independent underground—combining the foundation of his Jersey City, New Jersey hip hop roots with his ongoing work in Springfield, Massachusetts as an MC, producer, designer, and multimedia creator.
